The Northwest Treasure Hunters Club (NWTHC) was formed in 1971 to provide an opportunity for persons interested in sharing their hobby of treasure hunting, relic finding, and searching for artifacts.
Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. at the Sinto Center, 1124 W. Sinto, Spokane Washington.
Programs are interesting and vary from information on how to get the most from your metal detector to how to research a suspected treasure lead.
Each month we have the 'Find of the Month' which is open to members. Any find from the previous month can be entered. There are several categories for which prizes are awarded.
Several continuing activities are held such as a winter hunt for the penny on a chain which is placed in some business, or a summer one in which a plaque is buried. Clues are given for each and a prize awarded for the lucky person who finds either.
Several planned treasure hunts are held throughout the year. Some are mini-hunts in which coins are planted and retrieved. A major two-day hunt is held in June. In both types of hunts interesting prizes are awarded.
As you can see, we are a fun club and we would like to extend a cordial invitation to you to visit one of our meetings.
