In May, the Tennessee supreme court ordered a new trial for Hixson, Tenn.,
Baptist preacher Don McCary, who had been sentenced to 72 years in prison
for 13 sex offenses against four teenage boys. His twin brother, Ron, had
been serving time at the prison in Pikeville, Tenn., for raping a six year
old boy, and their older brother, Richard, a former pastor, is still
wanted by authorities after pleading guilty to molesting four boys in the
1980's.

Question: I am a male and consider myself a strong feminist. I live in a
co-op house where by chance the women live upstairs and the men downstairs.
One of the women (a teacher) maintained that this was because women are
good and men are bad. I've heard women say that men are offensive, men's
feet offensive, male body hair offensive, men enjoying lovemaking and not
thinking at that very moment about marriage and babies offensive. I feel
pre-judged and guilty (though innocent) and I feel powerless. I'm really
tired of getting kicked in the balls for having them. What's a sensitive
guy to do?
