1. In Search of New Worlds
The Explorer has already discovered a new world and are starting to prepare it for colonization. The Drules also have thier eye on this planet (which was not named). The Drules interrupt the process of colonization by the Alliance by attacking and then sending a robeast. The Alliance wins the battle but looses the planet.

2. First Day on a New World
The Explorer encounters another planet little to their knowledge it is already aquisitioned by the Drules. The land team is sent to investigate. We are introduced to Professor Page (who is "real big on plantlife" as Krik states). Prof. Page talks some sense into the crew of the Explorer. The Land Team finds this planet inhospitable until they find vegetation and,... a rocket? Unfortunately, this also proves the fact that the Drules have already claimed the planet.

8. Ghost Fleet from Another Planet
The Explorer encounters a two planet system and a ghost fleet,... spooky! We are introduced to the popular "chair sequence" which is how the VF gets into their ships. We also find out that the Sea Team Fighter has nuclear power capabilities. Many things are discovered about the planet they have encountered; the mysterious water and its link to the ghost fleet. The Explorer lands in the lake and is cornered by the Drules and the Ghost Fleet. The water is discovered to have an eroding agent.

9. A Very Short Vacation
"They must not interfere with the Imperial plan to control the universe." - Hazar (What will intrest you is what he says afterwards). We are introduced to the evil Viceroy Throk. Who Hazar contacts and informs him about the Explorer's passage through Drule space promising not to use Voltron. The Explorer is given a backup squadron from Krik's planet (Captain Qyo). The Explorer requires minor repairs and must hide in an asteroid field. Captain Qyo confronts the Drules with his squadron alone. The Air Team was ordered to remain protecting the Explorer but they stubbornly disobey orders. This causes some problems when they get in the way of Qyo's targets. Captain Qyo orders the Explorer to evacuate the area as the Drules have launched a lagre scale attack and a robeast on the backup squadron which does not survive. Favorite line: "QUIET! Pretend It's butterscotch topping!" -Hawkins

Mongo dies.
35. Letters from Home
All the members get letters except Chip. When he doesn't hear from his brother he fears the worst. Chip makes a fake letter but, when the alert sounds the teams all leave Chip accidentally drops the letter Lisa picks it up & realizes Chip wrote it to himself. Chip is confronted by Lisa who he admits to writing the bogus letter to himself and also Jeff, Cliff and Cric have to get him out of hot water for missing the last alert call. Then Lisa tries to calm Chip down, who by now was crying because he worried about Pidge his younger twin (they both lost there parents & no one would take both brothers in. Later, the next couple took both Chip& Pidge so they won't be separated) Then Lisa and Chip (and the others) form Voltron to get rid of the robeast. Later, Chip's missing letter is found by Cmdr. Hawkins. It was delivered to the wrong section. Chip hears from the step-parents and they forwarded the letter to Chip. He reads the letter to the team with tears in his eyes At the end it said" Love Pidge"
