Lowell	October 26, 1846
On October 26, 1846, a big luminous flying disc reportedly dropped a lump of "fetid-smelling jelly" over Lowell. Allegedly, the mass was retrieved and was found to weigh 442 lbs. and measured 4 feet in diameter.
Bedford	May 4, 1960
Charles S. Oates, chief technician at the Charles Hayden Planetarium, and his wife were witnesses to a strange 5-minute UFO event. First, two luminous lines appeared in the sky. The couple then saw a bright red spherical UFO hovering in the East. As they watched, it began to move in an eastern direction and pulse white and red. The couple tried to summon other planetarium staff before the UFO was gone but were unsuccessful.
Woburn	September 12, 1961
This case had one witness, a mason contractor. He wrote: "The evening sky was clear and I was looking towards the heavens when I saw a beautiful bluish streak crossing from East to West at about 50° to 60°. A tree got in the way of the sighting but I picked it up right away - only the color now appeared a bright orange - the object was too far to identify, and because of its speed, I knew it was an unusual craft. The sighting lasted about 6 or 7 seconds."
North Wilmington	September 17, 1961
At about 7:15 p.m. on the night of September 17, 1961, a teacher saw a very bright white sphere, the size of a grapefruit, moving rapidly in an eastern direction.
Woburn	March 25, 1962
A concrete and brick mason building a chimney on the rooftop of a new home took four Polaroid photographs of a UFO during a 40-50 second sighting. The pictures were overexposed and the images were faint, but in one photo the object can be seen as perfectly circular with a smaller circular marking in the center.
Burlington	May 15, 1962
Project Blue Book File #7927 contains 2 photos of a disc-shaped object in the sky. No other information is available. The pictures were published in Brad Steiger's book "Project Blue Book".
Burlington	June 19, 1963
"An unidentified white light was observed descending, changing color; finally appeared silvery. The UFO then circled the area, disappearing behind objects on the visible horizon." - Richard Hall, "The UFO Evidence" pg.140
Chelmsford	October 17, 1966
At 9:05 p.m., two witnesses watched a UFO fly directly overhead. They described the object as appearing as two extremely bright red lights with a string of dim bluish white lights in between them. No structure could be seen but the lights moved in a way that suggested they were attached to an unseen object.
