As the image of "Page 1" of each book demonstrates, each volume is arranged alphabetical by the last name of the deceased. Each entry includes all genealogical information mentioned in the original record i.e. date of death, parents, spouse, informant. All information available on the original record has been abstracted and may include other names that might have genealogical value even if a relationship is not stated. Volumes 2 and 3 also include an addendum of additional names omitted from the prior volume because the data was reported in a later year. These three books cover all available death records for the period 1864-1877.

There is also a second section, arranged in alphabetical order with the original page number, which should make it easier to locate names. All major information from the original census has been abstracted and included in this book.

This book has 167 pages and contains approximately 12,000 names. All names are arranged alphabetically. The book serves as an excellent substitute for the lost 1800 Virginia Federal Census for this area. This book covers the 13 Virginia Counties that later formed the majority of present day West Virginia. This area includes the counties of: Berkeley, Brooke, Greenbrier, Hampshire, Hardy, Harrison, Kanawha, Monomgolia, Monroe, Ohio, Pendleton, Randolph, and Wood. This book provides all the significant genealogical data contained on the tax lists including all names that appear, county, year of list, and the basic tax data (tithables, slaves, and horses).

All books are 8.5" X 11", paper, and stapled and tape, or spiral, bound. For shipping books, add US$3.95 S&H for the first book, and US$2.75 for each additional book ordered at the same time and shipped to one United States addresss. For shipments to Canada, add US$7.00 for the first book, and US$3.50 for each additional book ordered at the same time. For books shipped to Washington State addresses, the buyer is responsible for payment of any state or local sales tax due.
